| Manhattan Inn - "It was an OK hotel for that price but really small rooms. The aircondition could nearly not keep the room cold even if it was on the highest speed. Shouldn´t want to stay here if it was really hot. One good thing though was the roof terrase and free PIZZA every Thuesday, also good with free breakfast - but you have to be up early to get some breakfast. Beside our hotel was a Japanes Restaurant with the best sushi I have ever eaten - we went there two days in a row - beacuase it was soooo
delicious. The Sushi you get in Sweden is tasteless if you compare with this - it was even better than the sushi I had in Tokyo - but there we only ate sushi that arrived on a roalling band. |

bath conveniently located on each corridor. YMCA is famous for their hospitality to help people with family problems or people who have become homeless. The rooms are very small, the paint on the walls have flaked off and they have bunkbeds. It is very clean and their showers and bathrooms are modern and fresh. If you want to stay in midtown and at a cheap place and if you do not care about comfort, this is a good choice. A big plus in the margin for the
staff who were extremely friendly. The Youth Hostel is located at Central Park/Lincoln Center.
The nearest subway is at 59th Street Columbus Circle." |
